Extension Day 57: Laying The Groundwork

The bits of the floor that were not level where the old kitchen was removed have been screeded ready for the new floor to go down next week, that will really start to finish it off (plus make it significantly Warner when walking around)...another plus in the warmth department it the fitting of our new tall radiator for the kitchen, at least once it is turned on! The washing machine and tumble dryer are both in place and it is starting to feel like a kitchen now rather than a building site. Can't wait to see it all finished now, the suspense is killing me!!

The brickwork for the porch is all finished and ready for a roof to be added, which will help keep the heat in and give us some proper space for the shoes and coats that usually clutter out hallway....looking good.
